A caver experiences a rock fall event on a ledge 40m in the air and must be rescued. We walk through this rescue from dispatch to demobilization. In addition to telling the story of the rescue, we also talk about the challenges of cave rescue from communications to resource management, to is a broomstick an appropriate traction splint?
