Freyr has incorporated important changes into the mindset of the mountaineering department of ICE-SAR’s rescue school since he took on the role of lead instructor. In his introduction he talks about his focus on two things he has made a priority in the training; exemplary procedures and student safety. The importance of instructors exercising exemplary behaviour will have a direct influence on the way students conduct themselves later on when facing real life circumstances.
