We usually develop new technology and products for a dedicated application, but sometimes we discover that several side application may have the same needs, but simply, do not find the right product or have the knowledge that something exists.

In our journey towards developing a technical rescue garment solution, we find out that behind fire fighter rescue, emergency medical services and rescue team may have the same needs when operating together at the same incident scene, but may not have the same level of protection. in current personal protective equipment.

When a risk analysis is made, surprisingly, the same needs are expressed, but mostly because in our case, the proposed technical solution was responding to their aspiration.

In our lecture we will discuss how we selected the best compromise for our newest technology, but also share our experience with end-user organization feedback that discovered or expressed their needs after having tested the product.
