Cooperation in a Successful Rescue Operation in Hafnarfjörður Harbour.

21 Oct 1:00 PM - 1:45 PM

On 18 January 2020, a vehicle with three teenage boys fell into Hafnarfjörður harbour. This talk is about this course of events and how important good cooperation between respondents and specialised hospital treatments can be. Two of these boys required constant resuscitation until they could be placed in an extracorporeal circulatory unit. All three survived although the two were trapped in the car underwater for almost 30 minutes.
