Rope Rescue Techniques such as Highlines and Guiding Lines can be invaluable ways to solve certain rescue situations.  The principles of modern Dual Capability Two-Tensioned Rope Systems can be easily applied to these aerial rope rescue systems to improve the overall safety of such systems. This presentation reviews some of the key principles and performance criteria of using DCTTRS aerial rope rescue techniques, and also provides case examples of their use in actual rescues.
