Drones are increasingly being used in search and rescue operations in Iceland. They are present all around the country and are in many places a seamless part of the daily response. But everything can be improved upon and now it is prudent to evaluate how we have done and where we can do better. There are many indications that there is room for improvement which leads to better results in the work being done. The presentation touches on a few areas where SAR personnel can do better in callouts and exercises.
