Initially tasked to a potential winch case in Alpine Victoria, enroute things changed substantially. The ultimate outcome was an attempted high GCS RSI which quickly evolved into a cricothyroidotomy. The presentation analyses decision making, the high variation in tasking requirements, and the need for adaptation and critical thinking processes to dynamic circumstances in resource poor/isolated environments.
