To increase confidence to assess ocular pathology in austere environments, as well as make informed referral and management decisions. Following on from the ophthalmology workshops, I will recap the anatomy and physiology of the eye and explain examination techniques and best practice tips. I will then go into more detail on the types of ocular injuries and disease that are most likely to arise in the wilderness setting and ways to manage these.
