Snowmobiles are one of the most powerful tools available for SAR operations in snow, but in order for them to be as useful and safe as possible, we have to search in an organised and secure manner. In my talk, I will review the methods we teach for snowmobile search operations at the Search and Rescue School in the hope that as many people as possible will adopt new methods when conducting searches on snowmobiles.
