As a photojournalist since 1976, Ragnar has documented most of the important events in Icelandic history. Eruptions, floods, avalanches, aircraft crashes and other emergencies have brought RAX as he is better known as alongside first responders in many challenging situations. RAX will in this presentation reflect on his career, the challenges, ethical aspects of documenting disasters and the importance of the photograph to document history.
