Technical rope rescue and mountaineering course
Join us for a three-day course providing you with the foundation skills in technical rope rescue and mountaineering.
Based on the ICE-SAR rope rescue and mountaineering education curriculum this seminar will provide you insight into the basic skills of these fields of rescue.
Our instructors will provide you with a hands-on rope experience along with the knowledge of building a simple and competent rescue system. Get familiar with basic mountaineering skills, and enjoy the experience of travelling over steep glacier terrain using the right skills and equipment.
This course will be held in Reykjavik, and each day we will travel to remote places to do practical skills and training. Good boots, warm clothing, basic rope rescue and mountaineering equipment is essential.

Basecamp Innovations Ltd Technical Rope Rescue course
Join us for a collaboration course by ICE-SAR Rescue school and Basecamp Innovations Ltd.
The course will be held in Reykjavik 3 - 7 October. The course will train you in rigging up rescue systems and how to evaluate them in regards to safety and strength. The aim is to make the pupil more skilled in the field and have better oversight over the important safety measures needed for technical rescue rigging.
