RESCUE 2016 is an international search and rescue conference in Reykjavik, Iceland. RESCUE will be held for the 14th time October 12-14 2016.
Over 50 lectures in four lecture halls from experts from all over the world, interesting pre-conference courses and a variety of exciting off-venue activities.
This year the conference will be held at Harpa, the new conference and concert hall in the heart of Reykjavík. Harpa is the winner of the 2013 European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture - Mies van der Rohe Award. Harpa offers a great exibition area so the RESCUE EXPO will be bigger and better than ever.
As a gesture for our foreign guests, many lectures will be held in English and the Icelandic lectures will of course be translated. That way, all our participants can gain as much as possible from the lectures they attend.
You can participate in an exciting pre-conference courses, dip into the Blue Lagoon and have a dinner after with friends and colleagues. On Monday after the conference there will be a SuperJeep tour up to the Icelandic Highlands or on a glacier.
That way you can make the most of your trip to Iceland!
