Many rescuers are qualified to perform water rescue operations in navigable waters, rivers, streams and open water. With respect to Urban Flooding the circumstances so rounding rescue change a bit. This program offers insight to mitigate natural and man-made hazards which will result in safer practices. We examine low to high risk scene management and have developed the best and most effective rescue methods for those scenarios. Everyone has the potential for a flood and when the 100 year storm hits but many are not ready.  This program highlights, water craft (tiller versus console driven), Inboard-outboard-jet powered, pre-planning operations, hazards you may encounter (signs, fences, vehicles etc.), force of water, natural hazard assessment, mapping, deep water vehicles and more. This program is ideal for members of a boat crew, especially for the vessel operator and rescue swimmer.
